Job Summary
Comcast is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Procurement to assist in long-term strategic planning and value creation with Comcast’s hardware suppliers. This role will be responsible for Comcast’s strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships, including working cross-functionally to understand the needs for third-party engagement across the business, finding and evaluating potential partners and suppliers, drafting and issuing RFPs, leading contract and pricing negotiations, identifying and executing on cost reduction opportunities, and overall management of third-party relationships. Strategic sourcing managers who can operate independently and possess expertise in consumer electronics, system-on-chip (and key electronic components), semiconductors and semiconductor foundries, OSATs, contract manufacturing, and OEM/ODM relationships are highly desirable.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with Comcast stakeholders (program management, engineering, operations, strategy, finance, and design) to derive and execute the medium-term strategy to support Comcast’s hardware programs
- Develop the supply chain and partnership footprint with a long-term, strategic view to drive optimal cost and capacity redundancy
- Lead the day-to-day process of ensuring successful partnerships (change order management, cost control and reduction, supplier responsibility initiatives) and build supplier performance assessments to support future sourcing decisions
- Conduct and compile supplier, industry, and market research for strategic deals
- Drive cost transparency and build total cost of ownership models
- Ensure contract coverage for each supplier and engagement
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers as the lead point of contact for all commercial issues
- Identify sourcing alternatives to drive efficiencies via benchmarking, competitive quotes, and changing requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strategic sourcing, financial analysis, pricing and contract negotiation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both in a team environment to achieve cross-functional results
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
- Organizational skills to manage and track transactional details
