Join our dynamic team at John Deere as an HR Business Partner for the Intelligent Solutions Group! In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the delivery of HR operations for key leaders within our organization, driving impactful people initiatives that support our technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner, providing expert guidance and support for our Global Advanced Hardware and Software teams, as well as our Enterprise Technology teams. Collaborate closely with leaders to implement strategic HR initiatives that align with our organizational goals and global HR strategy.
- Employee and Leadership Development
Oversee HR operations related to employee development within your area of responsibility. This includes managing succession planning, leadership development, career advancement, performance management, and other critical employee development processes to foster a high-performing workforce.
- Innovative HR Solutions:
Act as a creative partner, advocate and voice for new HR solutions, tools, and practices. Collaborate with stakeholders and our enterprise COE’s to be the voice of the business when looking to develop and implement innovative policies that address the unique needs of our technology workforce.
- Team Development and Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring they are well-equipped to support HR policies and goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth, transforming your team into a high-performing, seasoned group of HR experts.
Lead Strategic Projects:
Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive workforce planning strategies (strategic and tactical) that align with organizational goals and budgets. This includes conducting thorough analyses of current and future workforce needs, identifying skill gaps, forecasting talent requirements and identifying where talent should reside and be developed globally. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design tactical plans that ensure the right talent is in place to meet both immediate and long-term business objectives globally.

- 7 plus years proven experience as an HR Business Partner/Senior HR Manager or HR Operations, ideally within the technology sector.
- 2-3 years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative HR solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (Includes International Travel).
- Knowledge of business and management principles in such areas as strategic planning, resource allocation, teamwork development, and leadership technique.
- HR Certification (PHR OR SPHR) Preferred.
- Proven ability to innovate technology solutions that improve people experiences.
- Strong ability to influence outcomes.
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business/Management discipline, in a Human Resources discipline, or in a Social Sciences discipline.
