Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Corporate FP&A team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for NBCUniversal consolidated financial results. The team also oversees the preparation of presentations to a wide spectrum of internal and external audiences including NBCUniversal and Comcast Senior management, as well as Investor Relations. This role will be part of a function within this team that is committed to drive excellence in FP&A across the enterprise leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud as a key technology enabler.
As the Manager FP&A and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our FP&A function by leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to streamline processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and enable data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Director of FP&A and Analytics, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to help design and implement innovative solutions that optimize financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The role will be business-lead.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implement best practices for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes on behalf of the finance organization.
- (Become a) hands-on expert in FP&A SAP Analytics Cloud (and DataSphere) planning, reporting & analytics.
- Digital storyteller that can turn business data into easy-to-understand visualizations.
- Partner closely with both the business and IT teams to support the software implementation.
- Challenge the organization to drive standardization in data and process.
- Provide training and support to other team members and help deliver comprehensive training materials and learning sessions.
- Responsible for Corporate FP&A solution(s) administration and enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in FP&A, proactively recommending innovative solutions to drive business value.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence (BI) tools.
- Understanding of FP&A processes with the ability to drive process improvements and/or automation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate cross function.
- Change champion with a results-oriented mindset.
Desired Characteristics:
- Certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud or relevant technologies are a plus.
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
