Description
The Project Coordinator will support the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) contract by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects aimed at enhancing military recruitment strategies. Coordinates individual or multiple projects including quality control, communications and assisting managers and directors in ensuring quality and timely completion of projects within time frame and budget. Works closely with project managers and teams to organize project activities, meet timelines, and complete deliverables to a high standard. Coordinators’ experiences and skills allow them to manage different aspects of complex projects and effectively organize and track them for clients.
Location: Remote and JAMRS Headquarters located in the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including meetings, deliverables, and communication among team members.
- Track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and action item logs.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance and compile data to support project reporting and analysis.
- Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and communications.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, briefings, and other project-related events.
- Assist in the allocation and tracking of project resources, including personnel, budget, and materials.
- Support the procurement of necessary resources and ensure they are available when needed.
- Monitor project expenses and assist in budget tracking and reporting.
- Assist in reviewing project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and requirements.
- Help identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in project work.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team, including scheduling, filing, and record-keeping.
- Manage project-related correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and other administrative documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Five years of experience (advanced degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience) in project coordination, administration, or a related role, preferably in marketing, advertising, or market research.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting projects within the Department of Defense (DoD) or related agencies.
- Familiarity with JAMRS and its mission and objectives.
- Knowledge of military recruitment processes and advertising strategies.

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
