Job Summary
The Manager of Security Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day physical security operations for all Cable Headquarter (HQ) West locations (primarily located in the Denver, CO Area, but includes locations in other U.S. based states). This role ensures the implementation and enforcement of physical security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities (to include management of guard services accounts for Cable HQ – West based locations). The Security Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain a secure environment and mitigate security risks. This role will be primarily officed out of the 4100 E Dry Creek Rd Centennial, CO 80122.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees the daily security operations, including physical security, access control, surveillance systems, and incident response for all Cable Headquarter (HQ) West locations (primarily located in the Denver, CO Area, but includes locations in other U.S. based states).
- Responsible for ensuring all physical security technology hardware (access control, cameras, biometric, vehicle gates, etc.) are online and fully operational.
- Supervises a team of security personnel (internal and contractors), providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversees guard services for accounts based in Cable HQ – West locations.
- Develops and enforces security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect personnel, assets, and facilities.
- Conducts regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address security gaps.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Coordinates and conducts investigations into security incidents, theft, fraud, workplace violence, and other breaches of security.
- Maintains relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to enhance security capabilities and intelligence sharing.
- Responds to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate actions and documenting incidents, as necessary.
- Partners with the appropriate business units to maintain appropriate security measures for business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as IT, HR, Legal, and Facilities, to align security objectives and support organizational initiatives.
- Conducts regular audits and assessments of security controls and processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Prepares and presents reports on security operations, incidents, and key performance indicators to senior management.
- Assists in the development and implementation of security awareness training programs for employees.
- Acts as a liaison between security personnel, facility managers, contract service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Assists with the development and implementation of technology and systems.
- Stays updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to security operations.
- Works flexible hours and is available on call 24/7 as situations warrant.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements

- Familiarity with physical security systems, access control (AMAG | Genetec), video surveillance (Genetec), and incident management platforms.
- Proficient in using security management software, tools, and technologies.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and crisis management protocols.
- Investigative knowledge and experience preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in an area of study relevant to this position (i.e., Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Compliance, Homeland Security, etc.)
Related Work Experience
- Generally, requires five plus years related experience of increasing responsibility with a full suite of corporate security experience to include physical security, crisis management, and critical infrastructure protection, risk controls, and loss prevention.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience with a law enforcement agency, military, or other governmental agency with responsibilities for protecting and securing people and assets preferred.
- Certification or accreditation from a risk or security management program such as: Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM), Associate Protection Professional (APP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Fraud Investigator (CFE), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), is a plus.
- Knowledge of Federal, state, or local regulations relevant to the Company (i.e., PCI, CPNI, SOX, HIPAA, and data privacy affecting theft of cable service) preferred.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime, as necessary.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $94,597.15 - $141,895.73
