As our Facility Engineer you’ll have an opportunity to participate in the set-up of our new manufacturing site in Kajetany, whilst being constantly exposed to local and international colleagues and discussions. Upon the site opening, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring the upkeep of building systems and equipment, selecting and overseeing third-party vendors, etc. You will also collaborate with the IT & other departments for critical infrastructure and work within an international environment to maintain high standards of operational efficiency.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement the facility roadmap and budget for the Warsaw site, covering construction, improvements, and maintenance of the building and equipment.
- Support facility-related projects and initiatives as directed by management, including but not limited to commissioning new buildings, decommissioning current facilities, expansion projects, and feasibility studies.
- Plan, track, execute, and document all maintenance activities for the Warsaw site, including inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of facility equipment and systems.
- Select and manage third-party vendors for building systems & maintenance, including but not limited to access controls, elevators, fire safety, compressed air, landscaping, waste management, security, chillers, HVAC systems, power supply, and diesel generators.
- Develop and oversee maintenance routines for all manufacturing and warehouse equipment.
- Maintain and update building layouts in AutoCAD & PDF format.
- Address daily maintenance issues promptly, troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime, and assist with emergency repairs as needed.
- Monitor and control building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, access control) through the Building Management System (BMS).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, FM Global standards, local laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the IT department for server room maintenance, Connectivity, CCTV, network infrastructure monitoring, and data backup/recovery.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering.
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a building maintenance, manufacturing maintenance or manufacturing engineer.
- Proficiency in software such as Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), BMS, and
- At least basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems(MEP).
- Experience with building automation systems.
- Ability to work in an international environment.
