Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks an Associate in Menlo Park, California
Design, develop and analyze software applications. Perform all tasks associated to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Support current software applications by debugging and troubleshooting production issues. Responsible for software upgrades and building key frameworks such as audit trial, entitlements, and expense reporting. Improve and enhance software system reliability, performance, and security. Build User Interface, APIs, and backend services. Draft and review software architecture diagrams, interface specifications, class structures, and other design documents. Work on WebFocus reporting tool for report development and maintenance. Work with technology and business team to understand business requirements and collaborate with multiple stakeholders for timely development and delivery and to meet business needs.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $163,000 and $163,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Senior Associate, Associate, or a related role. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Java; J2EE; JDBC; Spring; Hibernate; SOA Design Patterns; HTML4/5; XHTML; CSS2/3; AJAX; AngularJS; ReactJS; XSL Template; SQL; SOAP; REST; Cucumber; junit; JMockit; TestNG; Kafka Broker and Consumer; WebFocus Focus 4GL description and reporting language; WebFocus Designer; WebSphere Application Server; Tomcat; and Agile.
