HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Develop Learning Agenda with Customer Centricity– Bring your proactive intellectual curiosity to the customer and customer team. Developing innovative retailer solutions based on primary and secondary consumer/shopper insights you will drive goals and objectives. As you work to uncover retailer specific shopper opportunities you will work across different functions at the account & HQ level (i.e. Category Management, Sales, Omni, Strategy, Category Insights, etc.). You will bring depth of understanding of the customer’s shopper to occasions, shopper cohorts and missions. It will be critical to have a clear understanding of conversion drivers and activation best practices for the retailer.
- Unlock Insights Through Data & Analytics – Conducting research and analyses, you will strive to better understand market and shopper trends and disruptors. You will lead research and own the budget – gathering behavioral insights that point to the ‘who’ & ‘what’ – to help identify ‘why’ shoppers behave the way they do. This means searching for secondary research, translating &activating WK Kellogg Co insights, and/or leading briefs for primary research and custom analytics as well as test & learn opportunities. Your goal is to identify best in class insights, leading to strategies that connect meaningfully to the shopper.
- Bring Occasion-Based Category Vision to Life – The Customer Insights Manager serves as a resource and consultant to internal and external customers. You will take the lead and influence thought leadership meetings with external customers in which a deep level of shopper understanding will lead to executional strategy. Using insights to influence and interact with account teams, category teams and other cross-functional partners will be key to your success. The customer will look to you to uncover insights and provide category leadership.
- Drive Growth Strategically through Joint Value Creation - Maintaining awareness of market trends and competitor strategies, you will adjust WK Kellogg Co strategy accordingly. You will lead and develop "store of the future" work and strive to understand the shopper and the retailer. This position co-owns the development of aisle strategy. Leading and influencing Joint Value Creation (JVC) / Joint Business Planning (JBP) you will bring an insights perspective and provide Ingredients for Growth (I4G) insights leadership. YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s Degree Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, Applied Quantitative or related field or 6+ years working in a professional environment, focused on consumer insights / primary, secondary, and syndicated research required
- High-level analytical capability.
- Robust shopper and consumer insight experience and exposure. Along with primary and secondary research experience.
- High proficiency in using syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen, IRI), loyalty card data, and shopper panel metrics.
- Strong leadership, decision-making capability, and a proven track record of success.
- Ability to penetrate senior leadership level at the retailer.
- Assimilating and interpreting data from multiple disparate data sources into concise action-oriented recommendations.
- Experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Compensation Insights:
Salary Range: $108,900.00 – $135,00.00 USD
Annual Bonus Percentage Target: 18%
