We are seeking a Vacuum Swing Adsorption (VSA) Specialist within the Generated Gases Central team. The VSA Specialist is responsible for supporting our VSAs at facilities in North and South America.
The position is residence based and requires 40% travel. The position also requires 24/7 remote on-call support to assist local supervisors with operating issues.
The candidate must be self-motivated, safety conscious, a good communicator and possess good organization, operating and mechanical skills.

Required Skills / Abilities:
- Provide plant technical support to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations for VSAs across the Americas.
- Provide VSA safety support, including technical and safety reviews for eMOCs and RCAs.
- Identify gaps, solve problems, and develop solutions to resolve plant operating issues.
- Provide technical support for developing and driving productivity improvements/projects to meet our financial targets.
- Support critical metrics and plant assessment activities to leverage improvement projects.
- Provide effective support to Operations/Engineering technical functions, Site Managers, and Line Managers.
- Support development, execution, and startup for new GEMTE projects and major plant expansions.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
Candidates for this position will be evaluated on the following:
- A track record of success in EH&S
- A self-starter with proven leadership abilities -- Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards.
- Strong operating experience in VSAs, similar plants, or operations of similar complexity with a talent for effectively identifying and troubleshooting problems
- Strong communication and organizational skills to prioritize engineering decisions.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems/opportunities and drive cost-effective solutions.
- Ability to work well independently with equal ability to work very effectively as a team.
- Demonstrated computer skills
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Engineering degree (mechanical or chemical) a plus
- Adsorption plant operations experience a plus
- Strong mechanical, instrument and electrical aptitudes
- Proven commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Be able to meet on-call requirements as needed.
- Elevated work required.
