Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM)
The CLCM is integrated into the System Program Office (SPO) and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). The CLCM performs asset, sustainment and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk through life of the PBS. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with Regional Maintenance Centre’s (RMC) to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The CLCM works collaboratively via the SPO with the Design Services Contract (DSC) to plan and execute engineering changes and services. The CLCM delivers functions against the contract scope across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability.
The Opportunity:
The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Coordinator will be responsible for the identification, rectification, and implementation of HSE outcomes within the CLCM contract in alignment with KBR’s HSE policy.
The HSE Coordinator will be the main advocate for HSE initiatives with a focus on Risk Management and Health and Well Being at a project level and will sit within the GS APAC HSE team.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in the formulation of the project strategy, with respect to setting of HSE strategies, goals, and targets thereafter ensuring that these strategies, goals and targets are met by the project together with any contractual guarantees
- Identifying project risks and implement workable control measures to ensure the project delivers on required outcomes
- Carrying out incident investigations when required and reporting on these to Project and Company management
- Conduct Internal Auditing requirements and then follow up of all corrective actions arising from audits and inspections to ensure completion and close out
- Regular reporting of safety statistics, close out of corrective actions and progress against HSE plans
- Preparation and maintenance of Office HSE Plans and Local Emergency Response Plans
- Development and management of risk registers
- Provide regular updates to key personnel i.e. HSSE, Project Leads, Directors, Commonwealth
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Essential:
- Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent
- Experience in an HSE role within Defence (preferably the Maritime domain)
- Experience in performing internal auditing and reporting
- Understanding of Risk Registers
- Knowledge of ISO requirements
- Hold an active AGSVA security clearance (NV1 clearance desired, with a Baseline clearance at a minimum)
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Mental Health & Well Being
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- 3 – 5 years of experience in an HSE role
- Lead Auditor qualification
