Throughout the 9-week paid wealth management internship on the Wealth and Advice Solutions Team, there will be inspiring opportunities that welcome you into the Schwab culture and immerse you into your role. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will gain unique exposure to several of Schwab’s wealth management businesses, learning how Schwab .

What you have
As an intern, it’s not about what you know, it’s about what you are willing to learn. We’re seeking passionate students who are ready to own their Early Talent career and have the courage to ask “why”.
Required Qualifications
- Must be attending Texas Tech University.
- Enrolled in a current undergraduate or graduate program tracking to start full time August 2025-September 2026.
- Ability to work full time and be on-site at one of the Schwab locations during the 9-week program (June 9 to August 8, 2025)
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a financial planning program and/or on track to complete CFP Board approved coursework upon graduation
- Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to improve processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Resourcefulness and flexibility, who enjoy working through cross-functional partnerships and collaboration to achieve a common purpose
- An innovative and questioning demeanor, who constantly look for better ways to do things, have a passion for service, and seek to exceed client expectations
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills
Colorado Compensation
Target Total Compensation - $25/hour
