John Deere Kernersville: Maintenance Technician
As aMaintenance Technicianwith John Deere in Kernersville, NC, you will:
Perform assembly related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have at least one of the following:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
- At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
Must have at least 3 years of maintenance work experience; including:
- Working knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge and ability to service various automation tools such as PLCs, CNC controllers, AC/DC motor control circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotic welding systems.
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
- Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
