Job Description:
GDIT is looking for a SYSTEMS SME/ARCHITECT to assist within the Collaborative Partner Environment (CPE) supporting the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing Information technology enterprise systems. Will be responsible for helping to coordinate system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.
- Provides subject matter expertise on CENTCOM’s Collaborative Partner Environment (CPE) and data-centric mission partner networking in general
- Provides subject matter expertise on data-centric concepts, Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), and Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM). This includes the development and maintenance of CPE architecture across all mission networks.
- Direct site surveys, and develops architecture and plans for the deployment, installation, and expansion of CPE based on CENTCOM mission priorities.
- Contribute to completion of major engineering programs and projects.
- Develop solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems
- Perform highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
- Oversee highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
- Perform continual maintenance and provide highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
- In coordination with command stakeholders, identifies, plans, installs, and maintains mission command applications and capabilities on CPE required to support CENTCOM activities.
Education and/or Certifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in communication or a related field of study and at least 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification.

- Required USCENTCOM Exercise support of up to 10% Travel during the Year to OCONUS Locations

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
