The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

This is a hybrid position. You will be required to report in person twice a month if you live within 50 miles of any of the following dedicated commercial offices: Westborough, MA; Suwanee, GA; Plano, TX; Hoffman Estates, IL. Please note this policy is subject to change.
Responsibilities:
- Bordereau Claims Analyst will monitor, evaluate, and appropriately document and communicate exposure as necessary to Claims Management arising from healthcare liability bordereau files.
- Bordereau file inventory may include primary and excess bordereau files under the Hospital, Group Practice, Long Term Care, and Miscellaneous Medical Facilities lines of business.
- Review of bordereau files for our excess healthcare liability accounts, including hospital professional liability to identify matters that present a reasonable likelihood of exposure to the Company.
- Review loss runs and individual loss notices submitted to the Company, contact Insureds, and, where necessary, communicate with underwriting and claim professionals.
- Tracking of erosion to underlying insurance aggregate limits which increases the likelihood of exposure to the Company.
- Provide clear and thorough documentation of review in file notes and/or communicate with claims management regarding potential exposure.
- Conform to scheduled periodic review of accounts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of database software preferred
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience
