Job Overview & Responsibilities
- The Quality Analysis Specialist 4 position is responsible for establishing and maintaining Quality System and Special Process Certifications for ULA’s supply base
- This position will be an Audit Program Focal who will serve as the Administrator of a Quality Management and Special Process Certification Audit Program for approval of ULA’s supply base
- This position will utilize external resources such as OASIS, NADCAP, etc… and will manage a team of contract auditors to schedule assignments and oversee audit planning
- This position is responsible for managing ULA command media compliance for Procurement Quality Assurance and supplier approvals
- This position will be required to interface/coordinate with ULA contract auditors to ensure audits are scheduled and completed in an effective and timely manner
- This position will track and maintain findings from multiple forums to ensure adequate corrective actions are incorporated and is responsible for record retention
- This position will continually coordinate and partner with US government customers to participate in audit activities and present content under defined contractual conditions
- This position will partner with ULA engineering and supply chain focal to provide information on quality systems, special process control, regulatory compliance issues, and company initiatives
- This position will own training materials and other resources to support improvements in audit performance and productivity
- Additionally, this position will help lead and execute deployed contract source inspection activities at ULA suppliers and other miscellaneous tasks associated to the acceptance of procured hardware
- This position will require working remotely, virtual communication, and team building skills
- 50% travel or more and located within 1 hour of any of our site locations
Required Education
Associate's
Required Years of Experience
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university with 8 years of related experience
- Excellent communication oral and written, presentation skills with the ability to easily interface with peers, leaders, and customers
- Analytical ability to evaluate, interpret, and assimilate data into useable information and provide recommendations based upon results
- Familiarity and/or experience performing acceptance of hardware
- Highly proficient in computer usage and MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Technical capability of building databases and automating spreadsheets (visual basics background)
- 50% travel or more and be located within 1 hour of any of our site locations
- Thorough understanding of AS9100, manufacturing, Quality Management Systems, and NADCAP
Preferred Qualifications
- The ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, communicate effectively, work and lead in a team setting, and strong interpersonal skills are required
Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denver, ULA - Cape Canaveral, ULA - Decatur, ULA - Pueblo, ULA - Vandenberg AFB, ULA - Washington DC (CC ULS) only): $96,283.00 - $150,380.00
Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
