Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager in the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) which focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. This role supports the Air Force Enterprise Configuration Management Office (AFECMO).
AFECMO provides cradle-to-grave lifecycle support for Microsoft software products along with the management and integration/application of Microsoft services across the AF and DoD. AFECMO will also oversee the DAF vendor in managing the secure host baseline.

LOCATION: Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex, Montgomery Alabama
JOB STATUS: Full-Time
TRAVEL: Rarely
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- MA/MS and 12 years of experience, of which 5 years must be in the DoD,
- OR a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience, of which 5 year must be in the DoD,
- OR 20 years of directly related experience, of which 8 year must be in the DoD.
- OR GED, 10 years of experience in the respective profession being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD.
- Secret level Clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices.
- Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
- Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
