As a Site Performance Manager for Job Site Solutions, you will leverage application expertise, commercial acumen, and analytical skills to support our customers to develop and present customized solutions! You will support Job Site Solutions go-to-market initiatives and sales execution as a subject matter expert for machine application in the Mining, Quarry, and Waste industries. Work with Dealers and other Caterpillar Product Application Specialists to develop, implement, and manage site productivity, fleet modeling, and economic analyses at customer sites.
What you will do:

Support the Job Site Solutions (JSS) Global Commercial Team by analyzing customer sites to determine production and maintenance improvement opportunities, develop fleet models and machine recommendations to meet customers site requirements, and create total cost of ownership (TCO) models.

Collaborate with JSS commercial managers to develop solutions to meet customers’ production, cost, and operational needs. Recommend opportunities for their current fleet to improve operational excellence, and show how new equipment can drive further improvements.

Develop subject matter expertise skills in machine performance, application, and operation best practices. Work closely with the Job Site Solutions Fleet Managers to make recommendations for Continuous Improvement projects, equipment selection to become a trusted advisor to our customers.

Provide product application expertise at the point of sale, or by delivering various types of product training including productivity solutions (MineStar, MineStar Edge, and VisionLink Productivity), job efficiency, and safety to customers, company, and dealers' sales personnel. Conduct product performance studies, assess customer’s job site efficiency.
What Skills you will have:
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of machine performance and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to meet mine plans; experience using internal Caterpillar tools like Value Simulation Tool (VST), FPSim, and other performance-related tools for fleet analysis.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in the selection of machines, understanding their operations, identifying opportunities, modeling sites and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized JSS solutions.
Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical and business guidance to customers; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately in assisting with site productivity solution recommendations.
Field Support: Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support; ability to support current customers to execute recommended solutions, provide ongoing coaching, and recommend changes to improve performance.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective mining terminology, communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret site characteristics, ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to become a truster advisor to a customer, establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Top Candidates will also have:
Machine performance experience.
Mining or quarry experience.
Customer or dealer-facing experience.
Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ, or Peoria, IL.
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
