HOW A COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Conducting the daily operations for the communications equipment maintenance work center to include planning preventative maintenance, diagnosing the need for and coordinating corrective maintenance, and producing detailed documentation of maintenance actions.

Performing systems integration, maintenance, configuration, and modification to a wide variety of communications and communications support equipment that, depending on your specific assignment, may include SATCOM, Land Mobile Radio, Data, Voice, or Power systems.

Coordinating and conducting baseline configuration, updates, patches, troubleshooting, and repairs for all assigned equipment to include generating schedules for preventative maintenance of the same.

Providing on-the-job training and guidance to assigned military servicemembers in both the maintenance of equipment and the generation of accurate maintenance documentation within the designated system of record.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BS/BA or Equivalent experience

Required Experience: 2+ Years’ related experience

Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+ (or DoDD 8140 IAT II Compliance)

Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills

The likely salary range for this position is $76,690 - $78,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
