DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Administrative Associate – Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Efficient Call Handling : By answering telephones, screening calls, and taking messages promptly and courteously, you will ensure effective communication and a positive experience for callers and visitors.
- Accurate Document Preparation : Transcribing, typing, formatting, and proofreading various materials will ensure that all documents are accurate, professional, and well-presented.
- Meeting Coordination : Scheduling and organizing internal and external meetings, including making travel arrangements and ensuring amenities are available, will facilitate smooth and productive meetings.
- Schedule Management : Managing the appointments and schedules of staff will help maintain organization and ensure that everyone is where they need to be at the right time.
- Office Equipment Utilization : Using office equipment like photocopiers, faxes, and printers efficiently will support the smooth operation of daily tasks.
- Administrative Task Execution : Performing administrative tasks such as distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, and maintaining office supplies will ensure that the office runs efficiently and effectively.
- Timely Support : Following established procedures and guidelines to provide timely administrative support will help the office, business unit, or department meet its goals and deadlines.
- Professional Interaction : Dealing with callers and visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately will enhance the professional image of the organization and ensure effective communication.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Minimal or no work experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information
- Oracle experience preferred.
- 2 years’ experience shipping and receiving
- Proficient in typing
- Preparing shipping labels using Clear Orbit
