Haskell’s Design & Consulting Team unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals from across industries and geographies. In this role, you will be responsible for project designs, coordination, client communications, and associated construction administration. This opportunity is with Haskell's Government Design group which offers design services to federal clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Air Force, NAVFAC, and more.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design of interior lighting, exterior lighting, and power distribution.
- Documentation of calculations reflecting code compliance of the following: lighting calculations, power load calculations, short circuit and voltage drop calculations, and coordination studies
- Ensures all project internal and external comments and markups are incorporated into the project's design documents and specifications
- Works with Project Managers to ensure the project schedule will be met and complete documents are provided for each submission
- Provides coaching/mentoring of assigned staff
- Conducts site visits to meet with clients and to document existing facility condition
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer Intern (EI) preferred
- Proficient in Revit
- Ability to work in our Oklahoma City office multiple days a week

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
