As a Financial Services Go-To-Market Specialist, you would help sales leaders, account teams, and customers organize and execute a financial services industry-specific strategy on AWS by enabling the people, process, and programs necessary to drive business value. Financial services customers seek prescriptive guidance from experienced specialists in understanding how they easily, securely, and safely migrate to the cloud and are interested in learning how their global peers are adopting and innovating with cloud services. You would provide industry expertise and support customers at the line of business as they transform their enterprise.
Key job responsibilities
You will drive new business by working with leading financial services data providers and their consumers across capital markets, banking, insurance, and adjacent areas. Your specialized industry knowledge and expertise bridges businesses and technology, and you understand the regulatory and compliance environment in which our customer base operates. You speak the language of our customers, mapping their business, regulatory, technical, and organizational needs to AWS services and partner-led solutions.
Your responsibilities will include driving top line revenue growth and overall end-customer adoption across financial services market segments, with a focus on financial service data providers that sell into capital markets, banking, and insurance. You will enable AWS Financial Services field teams to be more effective in their interactions with key prospects and customers. The ideal candidate will possess a business development and industry background, with specific experience producing, distributing, and/or consuming financial services data to deliver meaningful business solutions. The candidate should have experience engaging with senior-level executives, and supporting account teams, on solutions sales or services opportunities. The candidate should have an understanding of the overall financial services data landscape. Expertise in leveraging real-time data and/or modern data architectures to support digital transformation and increased automation is a plus. You will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and a proven track record of tactical execution leading to the achievement of sales and market development goals.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
