Overview
The
Loader and Unloader is responsible for manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility.
Responsibilities
- Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in
- Pattern load in system
- Secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.)
- Unhook trailer once loading is complete
- Inflate air bags as needed
- Locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed
- Performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
- Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
- Must be able to operate a golf cart to transport materials and travel through facility
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
