Position Overview
We are hiring a District Payroll Support Coordinator for our Omaha team. In this role, you will provide high quality support to the districts that you are assigned, processing a high volume of time and payroll related requests. Your responsibilities will include pre and post payroll audits, validation and submittal of off-cycles payments, pay additions, monitoring labor cost moves, setting up overtime rules, and general payroll and time inquiries from the field and through our Service Now Ticketing system. This is a fast paced, challenging environment that will provide you with the opportunity to continuously learn and grow in all facets of Kiewit’s core business activities.

Location
This position is initially based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street and will move to our new location at 7700 Eastport Parkway La Vista Nebraska this summer. There is no relocation assistance provided for this position.
Responsibilities
• Pre and post payroll audits which will include the use of Excel to execute time uploads into SAP to validate accuracy of all hourly employee time on a weekly basis.
• Process time and payroll related requests such as pay additions/changes, cost moves, time/PTO entry, sick leave, overtime rules setup, cost code corrections, etc.
• Develop strong relationships with field personnel and provide excellent time and payroll support to the leaders in the field, for their hourly employees. Regularly interface with your district leaders via email, phone and Service Now ticketing system and online chat.
• Understand Kiewit’s core business and demonstrate a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues; Team members must be willing to go above and beyond in support of Kiewit’s districts and projects
• Understand and follow processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement
Qualifications
• Prior payroll experience preferred; Experience reviewing/auditing data for accuracy required.
• Working knowledge of computers and experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Excel experience should include pivot tables, Vlookup, and formulas. SAP experience or similar ERP system is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, clearly conveys messages and ideas, gains understanding; generates interest and holds attention, listens and is open to the ideas of others.
• Ability to work in a high volume, highly transactional environment. Must be highly motivated and self-directed, display initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done.
• Attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, math and organization skills
• Ability to understand and follow process and controls. Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work.
• Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
• College Degree in business or related field preferred
