Pay: $54,080.00/yr
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Responsibilities for EHS Supervisor:
- Ensure contractor compliance with Federal, Provincial Acts, Codes and Regulations
- Exercise authority to suspend work, in case of deviations in High Risk Activities rules, until corrective actions are taken
- Control necessary PPEs are provided and worn
- Make sure tool box talks are performed
- Conduct periodical EHS coordination meetings with Contractors and raise important issues to Unit management
- Assists with environmental, health & safety (EHS) tours, audits, & surveys throughout GE Meter to document compliance status
- Provides internal and external EHS sampling (monitoring) and analysis to provide data needed for internal or external reporting & compliance
- Conduct accident / near miss investigations and root cause analysis and may make resolution recommendations
- Perform periodic safety Inspections such as fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, cranes and hoist
- Hazardous Waste Contamination & Cleanup - As the second shift EHS representatives, first on scene and first EHS point of contact for any incident occurring on second shift
Qualifications for EHS Supervisor:
- May assist in the preparation of fee proposals and scopes of work
- May assist in preparing specifications for projects
- 2 year Degree, Specialized EHS Courses
- Participation in Plans – Participate in monthly emergency response drills with the site team
- Investigations – As the second shift EHS representatives, be first on scene and first EHS point of contact for any incident occurring on second shift
- Leadership – Fulfill the role of Incident Commander on emergency responses
