Our team supports a wide range of FAA organizations in achieving their business objectives under the NISC IV contract. The selected candidate will provide high-level administrative support not only using established rules, policies, and procedures to carry out all administrative and/or non-technical functions but use analytical skills to properly assess and execute various executive level tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role of executive-level administrative support for the Executive Director and Deputy Director of the FAA Office of Aviation Policy and Plans. Additional areas of support include calendar maintenance, appointment scheduling, maintaining all office files and correspondence.
- Provide logistical support for meetings and/or teleconferences of various sizes to include preparing support materials, reserving meeting locations, taking accurate meeting minutes, and following up with summary notes/minutes or reports from meetings.
- Prepare presentations, visual aids, and professional materials for meetings and conferences.
- Enter time and attendance records in the FAA Time Reporting System (i.e., CASTLE).
- Oversee supply management to include ordering and tracking supply levels, compiling requests from team for office supplies, etc. while staying within budget constraints.
- Review and prepare electronic travel authorizations and vouchers submitted by staff in accordance with FAA Travel Policy.
- Directly responsible for office files, records, and logs—ensuring that routed document packets are accurate, signed, as well as reviewed and/or approved.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience could be considered in leu of education.
- Ability to organize meetings, consisting of agency and external stakeholders with broad range of specialties and interests (e.g., members from professional aviation organizations).
- Capacity to multi-task, strong organizational skills, budget adherence experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) to various levels of management.
- High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Office, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in federal government contracting, FAA is a plus.
- Working knowledge of FAA systems including CASTLE and E2.

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
