Description: Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a Contracts Management candidate for a position located on-site in Grand Prairie, TX to support GMLRS Production Program pursuits through contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. The desired candidate will provide contract administration support by reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering IWTAs and requests for proposals/ROMs.
What You Will Be Doing
Duties Include:
Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
For a level 2, we typically require 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen
- Prior experience/ understanding of the USG contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in the USG contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out
- Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type contracts (CPFF, CPIF)
- Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience
- Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
- Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
