Overview
The Dispatcher receives assistance requests from clients and customers and assigns individuals and teams to respond to those requests.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
Preferred Qualifications: • One (1) year of prior multi-line reception experience or dispatching experience preferred
Responsibilities: • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Schedule and dispatch resources, which may be team members, crews/teams, equipment, or service vehicles, to appropriate locations Supervising the activities of dispatch staff, ensuring they fulfill their roles effectively and efficiently
- Coordinating with drivers, service technicians, or other field staff to ensure they receive accurate and timely information about assignments
- Planning and scheduling dispatch operations, including routes and schedules for drivers
- Resolving complaints or concerns raised by customers or staff related to dispatch services
- Training new dispatch personnel and providing ongoing training to existing staff
Ensuring all dispatch operations comply with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities, including information about routes, schedules, incidents, and service levels
- Implementing strategies to improve dispatch operations, including efficiency, customer satisfaction, and safety
- Analyzing data related to dispatch operations and preparing reports for management
Ensuring the necessary dispatch equipment is in proper working condition and arranging for maintenance or replacement as necessary
Other duties as assigned by management.
