Morgan Stanley at Work is a division within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management comprised of Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Solutions, Shareworks by Morgan Stanley Equity Compensation, and Financial Wellness. Our division offers in-depth knowledge and resources focused on providing a full range of solutions that help address various institutional and employee financial challenges and complexities. This business area is also where some of the biggest acquisitions internal to financial services are housed (ex: E*Trade, Solium) and hence, is a key growth area for the Firm.
Morgan Stanley at Work provides a comprehensive offering to Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) plan sponsors and executive/plan participants. NQDC offers oversight and recommendations to plan sponsors in the design and administration of NQDC plans, including funding optimization strategies. Morgan Stanley at Work also creates NQDC education materials and provides financial wellness through Financial Advisors to assist executives with implementing holistic and tax efficient wealth management strategies across their assets.
Position Summary:
The NQDC Plan Consulting AVP will work closely with the Sales Team to provide support in the delivery of new and/or existing NQDC plans. This will include lead qualification and sourcing, tracking and reporting opportunities within Salesforce (CRM tool), coordinating client and prospect meetings, and assist in responding to NQDC Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The AVP will be expected to produce client facing materials and presentations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor and help manage inbound sales and consulting team requests
- Qualification of inbound NQDC sales leads
- Develop client facing materials and presentations to be delivered
- Assist with tracking of NQDC sales opportunities within Salesforce
- Construct and Provide reporting on sales pipeline
o Reporting to include standalone and cross-sell NQDC opportunities and wins
- Prepare response to prospect RFP requests and maintain database of firm approved replies
- Work as a liaison with firm’s legal, risk, and compliance partners through execution of client service agreements and contracts
- Assist with reviews of plan documents from existing and prospective customers
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant financial services industry or related experience with a focus on Nonqualified Deferred Compensation plans
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects across functional groups
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite necessary; including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with opportunity tracking and reporting via Salesforce tool
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Positive contributor to our team’s inclusive culture
- Desire to help grow and build the new NQDC business unit through the development of new firm clients
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 and Insurance and Annuities licensing or ability to obtain within 90 days

Salary range for the position: $85,000 - $135,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
