The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

What You Will Do

Responsible for all IT – PC’s, Network, Phones, technology

Understanding of logistics operations procedures

Driving continuous improvement through Lean processes

Managing Inbound/Outbound Flow Plan

Documented /Monitored Performance Measurements

Daily Customer Communications

Developing Visual Management

Developing Standard Work Documentation (video)
What You Will Have
-
A high school diploma or GED
-
Effective Communications (Basic Understanding) : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Problem Solving (Basic Understanding) : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Technical Excellence (Basic Understanding) : Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) - MTS, Mainframe, SAP. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc).

Customer Focus (Basic Understanding) : Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree

Experience in Availability & Inventory Management, Purchasing, or Transportation (Blue Yonder)

Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, PowerBI, Zebra Software Printing
