Key Responsibilities:
- Takes ownership of driving reliable and high-quality releases in the organization improving overall quality of delivered software
- Comfortable driving multiple initiatives in a multi-team matrix organization structure and representing as quality owner for all ongoing programs
- Excellent communication skills required, written and verbal coordination with stakeholders, non-engineers (Product, Customer, Operations, Marketing, U.S. Bank partner teams) and leadership
- Initiates, implements, and maintains quality improvement strategies.
- Drives continuous process improvement, data collection, analysis and preparation and execution of quality meetings
- Deeply understands end-to-end Software Testing methodologies and Architecture (e.g., how to build/test a distributed caching layer; how to validate complex data pipelines and transformations, a new data store)
- Provides visibility to leadership on quality issues, trends and losses serving as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement
- A primary advocate for customer issues, quality communications, issues, projects, and assigned resource vs work balance
- Designs, documents, implements and maintains procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, inspection, analysis of data and continual improvement
- Establishes and implements metrics or monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality and process related decisions
- Skilled in scaling, hiring and building teams to manage/enhance test and release cycles
- Can lead a very large, multi-quarter complex project for quality needs from conception to delivery with successful on time completion
- Champions new technologies by working with key partners in Product/Design and Engineering
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 10 years of experience with the processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to quality standards associated with developing, enhancing and operationalizing application systems and databases

- Experienced in managing AWS products and related latest testing methodologies

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
