Supplier Quality Assurance is seeking an experienced quality practitioner to serve as a Pratt & Whitney Supplier Quality Assurance Representative (SQAR). This position covers Connecticut and surrounding states, reporting to the SQA Manager of the Northeast Region. It offers a remote work opportunity, allowing the candidate to work from their home office while visiting suppliers as needed. The selected candidate will travel 4-5 days per week to supplier sites within this region. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and able to effectively manage their own schedule to meet business requirements. This role requires a minimum of 70% travel, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
What You Will Do:
- Supplier on-site quality support.
- First Article Inspection approval.
- Supplier surveillance audits.
- Support Pratt & Whitney quality initiatives throughout the supply base.
- Support escape/non-conformance/RCCA investigation.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and/or Quality Auditing, or 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and/or Quality Auditing with an Advanced Degree
- In lieu of a degree, a High School Diploma combined with 9 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and/or Quality Auditing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of AS9100 and Pratt & Whitney specifications
- Experience with First Article Inspection, RCCA, PPAP, PFMEA, and knowledge of castings/forgings
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and procedures and familiarity with shop operations, work instructions, and quality documentation
- Familiarity with various inspection tools and techniques including layout inspection
- Ability to effectively manage time, work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management, and use MS Office or similar applications

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
