As a Hardware Engineering Lead at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of engineering professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world’s most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing
As a Hardware Engineering Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Leading a team of hardware designers from the Critical Design Review (CDR) through final U.S. Army approval to cut-in the new IGS design to PAC-3 Production, including managing cost, schedule, and technical performance as the Hardware Design CAM.
-Scope objectives include, but are not limited to, missile integration, hardware-in-the-loop integration, qualification test (QT), flight test (FT), Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), and Request for Change (RFC) final cut-in engineering processing.
-Work collaboratively with Software Design, Test Design, Production Operations, Global Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Integration Test & Evaluation teams to accomplish scope objectives.
It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Extensive experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry.
• Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA).
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality.
• Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
• Experience leading failure investigation, root cause and corrective action.
• Working knowledge of lab equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers
• Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
• Pervious Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and Production readiness testing.
• Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigation
• Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
• Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting.
• Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production.
• Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with potential for future technical leadership roles.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
