Air Products is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor at our St. Louis, MO location. The Maintenance Supervisor will interact across all plant departments/leadership to ensure high level of service. Their direct reports will include the Maintenance Leads and Planner and accountable for all maintenance personnel. (~15 total)

Maintenance Supervisor, Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership with safety training, compliance, and performance.
Provide technical and leadership support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance results.
Prioritize and assign daily work for I&E, mechanical & electrical roles that support production and facility requirements.
Ensure that all team members clearly understand the scope of daily work,and execute to plan.
Establish, own and drive department KPI’s to ensure maintenance results & plant efficiency.
Work closely with maintenance planner to:
Define, implement, modify and improve PM plans
Minimize operational interruptions and downtime
Develop and implement “time based” maintenance planning
Define and monitor KPI’s to improve operational performance
Support contractor management activities, including safety training and monitoring.
Perform planned/unplanned repairs on all site buildings and manufacturing equipment.
Collect and record work order data to ensure preventative and predictive maintenance processes that enhance overall plant reliability and product quality.
Administer corporate and local policies that align with HR, Safety, and Compliance practices.
Foster and develop teamwork environment. (within and between departments)
Drive continuous improvements for manufacturing and building equipment.
Promote and ensure good housekeeping, environmental, safety, and productivity performance.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Ability to plan, organize, lead, coach and develop resources.
Ability to sort and analyze data to detect and improve failure trends.
2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred. (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)
Substantial maintenance experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Must have strong mechanical and electrical background.
Proficient PC/Microsoft skills, SAP a plus.
Proficiency with verbal and written communication skills.
Accountable for after hour or weekend call-ins as needed. (plant/production support)
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

480 volt AC 3 phase systems and power distribution
VFD’s and Motor controls
PLC, motion control and HMI’s
Instrumentation or process control
