Description:We are Lockheed Martin You will be the Systems Engineer for the F-16/FA-50 System Integration and Test (SI&T) team. Our team conducts the avionics system level testing for all F-16 and FA-50 upgrades and new production aircraft. This includes integration testing and formal verification in a desktop environment, lab environment, and support of flight test.
As the Systems Engineer you will be responsible for operating as a Product Owner or Technical Coordinator for the F-16 SI&T Navigation agile team. This team conducts avionics system level testing across various F-16 aircraft configurations for navigation systems, mission planning, safety of flight, helmet mounted displays, and several other avionics systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leader in the technical execution of the system integration and testing of the aircraft avionics for your assigned capability area.
• Conduct avionics software and hardware integration testing in a laboratory environment
• Support avionics troubleshooting both on the aircraft and in the lab
• Develop and review test procedures based on system requirements
• Develop and conducting automated test scripts
• Perform technical reviews of the team's work
• Leading the integration and testing of a new capability
• Organize and coordinate testing and troubleshooting activities with the test leads
• Implement improvement initiatives
• Support team technical roadmaps
• Provide programmatic support
• Lead in a technical area on the team, training new engineers
These activities will be done for multiple avionics capabilities including but not limited to Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI), Link-16 data link, radar, pods, stores/weapons, displays, and mission computer systems.
Some shift work (2nd / 3rd) may be required to support program and lab schedules

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM discipline
• Aircraft avionics experience
• System-level testing experience
• Leadership experience
Desired Skills:• Physically able to access aircraft cockpit test fixtures and conduct lab testing for typical 6-hour test shifts.
• Must be willing and able to conform with flight line dress code and FOD requirements.
• Fighter aircraft avionics experience including but not limited to A-G weapons, UAI, A-A weapons, sensors/pods, communication systems, navigation systems, etc.
• Hands-on experience with testing of avionics software and hardware
• Experience operating as an agile team lead such as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
• Expert in data analysis, problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting
• Proficient understanding of the systems engineering process
• Experience in reviewing electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
