International Resource Specialist
Key Role:
Provide support to the firm’s Indo-Pacific business assisting employees with onboarding, relocation, and operational activities, ensuring a positive and seamless experience joining and acclimating to the firm. Capture, analyze and report data to improve efficiency and the employee experience. Serve as a primary point of contact, along with a teammate based in Japan, for new hires and internal transfers as they transition into the Indo-Pacific region, providing timely and accurate information and coordination support related to new hire processes, onboarding, relocation, and operational inquiries. Assist internal clients in completing required forms, understanding company policies and procedures, and navigating our people and operational systems such as Workday and time and expense reporting systems. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and center-of-excellence (COE) teams to answer employee questions and provide assistance related to onboarding, relocation, travel arrangements, work visas, and other operational processing inquiries to ensure compliance with regulations and a seamless onboarding experience. Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee inquiries, processes, and transactions, ensuring data privacy and security in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Provide support to employees working in different time zones and locations, referencing the firm’s Help Desk support model, to address urgent inquiries and issues. Conduct and facilitate training sessions and workshops for all staff, especially new hires, internal transfers, and hiring managers on the firm's new hire and onboarding coordination, firm culture, company policies, procedures, and available resources. Collaborate with a multitude of internal team members across our COEs to problem solve, identify opportunities for process improvements, enhance the employee experience, and drive operational efficiencies as part of the Indo-Pacific's regional operations support model. Understand the local geographical environment and location sufficiently to help employees get the information and resources they need regarding local culture and everyday living. Report to various stakeholders, including leadership, with data analysis, statistics, and trends. Provide other associated regional support as needed, such as end of assignment or repatriation process, local entity operations, employee engagement activities, or program or project work. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with MS Office365 Product Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word
2+ years of experience in human resources, operations support, or customer service
Experience with international operations or living outside of the U.S., including in the Indo-Pacific
Ability to support employees in multiple time zones
Ability to travel internationally at least once per quarter
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to multitask and prioritize inquiries effectively to meet employee and leadership needs and project deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with various levels of internal executives, employees, and external clients
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive material concerning the organization and employee personal information
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of human resources information systems and processes such as Workday
Knowledge of onboarding and new hire orientation procedures and relocation logistics
Knowledge of ticketing systems and other technology platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, or SharePoint
Knowledge of the US government contracting environment
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and across diverse cultures
Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
Possession of excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent attention to detail

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
