Intelligence Analyst
The Opportunity:
With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find, interpret, and communicate the most mission-critical data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made by our military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to support our warfighters. As lead intelligence analyst you will use your specialized technical experience and attention to detail to provide actionable intelligence analysis to support real-world operations. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to lead a team of fellow intelligence professionals to support our warfighters.
As a lead intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll guide a team of analysts as they help your client understand their operational landscape and mission environment. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms and intelligence disciplines, you’ll advise your client on new data sources and tradecraft as your team builds assessments for targeters, warfighters, policymakers, or the IC writ large. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, including developing collection plans and risk assessments
- Experience as a component or supporting element to the targeting cycle
- Experience with all source intelligence processes, data evaluation, and analytical tools and databases, and PAI analytic principals
- Knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle, Collection Management Cycle, Targeting Cycle, and intelligence analytical techniques including trend pattern analysis, geospatial analysis, link analysis, and network or social network analysis
- Knowledge of internet-based research, including Boolean logic, search engine and database resources, and internet sources such as social media, social networking tools, data exploitation, and commercial- and industry-based databases
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight, function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment, and work flexible work shifts if needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to conduct independent analysis to support mission requirements, and use enhanced search procedures and tools to support the usage of PAI
- Ability to lead a small team of intelligence professionals, provide professional guidance, and lead product quality control and assurance for the team
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- 5+ years of experience conducting network analysis in support of attack the network operations, including counter-facilitation
- 3+ years of experience proving analytical support to one or more SOF units or commands
- 1+ years of experience in forward deployed locations supporting SOF
- Experience with advanced search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related tools, and with providing direct analytical support to operations and providing direct analytical and targeting support to deployed SOF elements
- Knowledge of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir, and intel-related databases such as RMT, TAC, NCTC, Online, TIDE, DX SIGINT Database, GAP Analytics, or FADE/MIST
- Knowledge of intel targeting tools such as the Skope toolset or the Voltron toolset
- Knowledge of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and ISPY, and signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence ((HUMINT), and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, Linguistics, or a related field
- Completion of OS301 Basic Open-Source Intelligence Course, or equivalent
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
