In this role you will facilitate and support HR Services (HRIS, Payroll, Benefits) data entry needs to include entering, updating, auditing, and maintaining confidential team member information in company databases and systems. Additional support for HR OPs data entry. You will also capture data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner, identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary. Additionally, you will provide assistance and backup support to other personnel in the department as assigned by supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our systems.
- Essential data entry skills with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
- Responsible for entering new hire and employee change data including employee terminations, compensation, title changes, location changes, etc.
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities for accuracy and timeliness of data.
- Administration of the timecard system which includes monitoring employee time entry and processing time data to hand off to payroll.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of organizational data across systems by coordinating data clean-up efforts and audits.
- Scan documents and print files, when needed.
- Keep information confidential.
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Process report requests by running Business Intelligent Reports.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Provide back up support to processing payroll.
- Assist with training new team members on timekeeping and HRIS systems.
- Other duties which may be assigned as needed.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma with 3 to 5 years of data entry experience to include data analysis.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, & Certifications:
- Proven data entry work experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and data programs.
- Proven strong and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and privileged information.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and written.
- Excellent team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Proven customer service skills.
Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
