Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer supporting our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state-of-the-art processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems and associated launch vehicles.
What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious, act independently to uncover and resolve issues, and will participate in teams assembled to accomplish long-range objectives.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will collaborate with other disciplines to include manufacturing engineers, tool technicians, manufacturing support personnel, suppliers, and the customer on assembly and production operations and will keep up to date on related industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include:
• For assigned area of responsibility SQE plans, organizes, and reports on supplier quality related activities such as raw materials, packaging materials, as well as providing input for purchase order requirements.
• Ensure control of supplier nonconforming items, conducts analyses and monitors effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Collaborates with internal engineering, manufacturing functions, and external suppliers to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Monitors quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities as requested and maintains feedback loops.
• When called upon, performs source surveillance & validation at supplier, audits, third party manufacturers, and performs special process audits.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Have advanced knowledge of quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis skills.
-Ability to perform floor support functions and make appropriate quality decisions.
-Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate technical data.
-Experienced in dealing with receipt of supplied product or dealing with a supply base relative to Quality assurance activities.
- Well versed in GD&T, interpreting drawings and standards.
- Experienced in using various inspection measurement tools, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to work with and around explosives.
Desired Skills:- Experienced in working with suppliers on quality assurance needs.
- Manufacturing environment exposure and process improvement experience preferred.
- Defense contractor or military contractor experience desired.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEA's, other Root Cause and Corrective action processes.
- Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods preferred.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
