RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Client Engagement Analyst to join the North American Sales organization. This Client Engagement Analyst performs a variety of duties to support the functions of the Relationship Lead/EAL/Business Developer and their team members. This includes conducting research, managing and tracking team assignments for account plans, managing internal update communications, preparing for and facilitating internal meetings, and providing reporting to management as needed.
Performs the following in support of the Relationship Lead/EAL/Business Developer and the success of the overall account:
- Creates and owns communications across the RSM teams related to status of engagements, learnings, challenges and keeping all stakeholders up to date in real time
- Building the account relationship review book for the meetings
- Completing various other activities necessary for meeting preparation
- Tracking of the pipeline, wins and losses
- Providing the Relationship Lead/EAL/Business Developer with intelligence about other service providers serving the account
- Building a direct relationship with the PE firm as a facilitator resource
- Creating relationship development plan (Growth Platform) and communicating to the team
- Researching and organizing appropriate social and entertainment options relevant to the private equity firm to help strengthen and maintain the relationships (including meetings, events, golf, dinners, need to contribute to fundraisers important to key players at the firm, etc.)
Responsible for the following, with little supervision:
- Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business problems into information and solutions.
- Researches and delivers information about targeted private equity funds, other organizations, industries, and business issues to practice professionals, business developers and marketers on an ongoing basis for assigned accounts.
- Sharing best practices and updates across Relationship Lead/EAL/Business Developer for the teams to consider
- Creating and working with advanced spreadsheets using PivotTables
Works with the identified Relationship Lead/EAL/Business Developer to effectively:
- Document the account penetration strategy and relationships across Private Equity and/or complex (EAL) prospect and/or client companies to build a business pipeline in the market
- Organize and lead efforts for opportunity management, marketing services and events to increase brand awareness in the market and local business development
- Assist in coordinating business development pipelines
- Provide financial analyst support, including acquiring, reviewing, and interpreting financial data
- Collaborate with local business partners to define and communicate marketing opportunities and help ensure alignment with relevant marketing events and programs
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Skills required.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences required.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of the technology tools required within assigned responsibilities required.
- Effective organization and time management skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks required.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Ability to initiate, build and maintain effective personal relationships with a variety of individuals required.
- Strong research and analytical skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision required.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $59,600 - $99,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
