Summary:
Leidos is seeking an experienced M365 Collaboration Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This role combines the responsibilities of administering and optimizing SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business environments. The ideal candidate will oversee the governance, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of these platforms to ensure they meet organizational and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Administration and Support:
- Oversee the administration and management of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business environments, ensuring they are optimized for performance, security, and user experience.
- Configure and manage organizational settings, user permissions, and governance policies across all three platforms, focusing on data security, compliance, and efficient collaboration.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for issues related to SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
Governance and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce governance policies for M365 applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage data retention, recovery policies, and legal holds to ensure the integrity and security of data across SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Integration and Customization:
- Plan and configure site collections, hub sites, document libraries, and user profiles in SharePoint Online, and integrate these with Teams channels to streamline document management and collaboration.
- Manage the integration of M365 services, including Dynamics 365 and Power Automate, to enhance productivity and collaboration within Teams and SharePoint.
- Configure and manage SharePoint customizations, apps, and metadata to meet specific business needs.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Continuously monitor service health, usage patterns, and performance metrics across SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure optimal operation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, policies, procedures, and service records for auditing and compliance purposes.
Security Management:
- Implement and manage security measures across M365 services, including Microsoft Defender and Sentinel integration, to provide comprehensive security monitoring and incident response.
- Configure and manage security alerts, policies, and automated response actions to safeguard organizational data.
Stakeholder Engagement and Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather requirements, present technical solutions, and align platform capabilities with strategic goals.
- Stay informed about updates, new features, and industry trends for M365 applications, and proactively recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and user experience.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development within the organization.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in M365 administration.
- Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance capabilities.
- Possess one or more Microsoft 365 certifications. E.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Working experience with a federal agency is required.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with M365 B2B collaboration and establishing trust relationships among multiple organizations, particularly in a federal agency context.
- Proficiency in managing guest user access and external sharing within M365, ensuring secure and compliant collaboration across different organizations.
- Familiarity with implementing and managing Entra ID B2B settings, including Conditional Access policies for external users.
- Understanding of data governance and lifecycle management in a multi-tenant environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in using tools like Jira, Confluence and Zendesk.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
