The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Cloud Engineer supporting the Department of the Air Force Cloudworks program at Lackland AFB, TX. This is a hybrid position where the candidate is authorized to telework two days a week. Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance in order to be considered. The selected individual will be responsible for the following: 1) Architecting advanced business enabling solutions for Air Force Commercial Cloud Services (AFC2S) teams utilizing services from IC ITE; 2) Providing technical direction for AF customers migrating to C2S; 3) Supporting integrating all cloud solutions and strategies into the Risk Management Framework and overall business practices; 4) Provide guidance about AWS, Azure, IC ITE GovCloud, IC ITE Commercial Cloud Services (C2S), and other federal government community or emerging cloud frameworks.
Additional Primary Responsibilities:
Manage access to Operations resources (e.g. account accesses or to GitLab repositories).
Serve as an Approver in code promotion process.
Ensure the Account Management Operations (AMO) team complete help desk tickets as well as sprint tickets from Program Increment (PI) planning.
Ability to assess priority levels of new tickets across all three networks.
Facilitate weekly backlog refinement meeting with Scrum Master.
Provide guidance to AMO team on ticket resolution.
Submit Weekly Activity Reports to AMO Lead.
Attend Technical Fit meetings with new customers as needed.
Assist in onboarding new Operations team members.
Attend Scrum of Scrums meeting every three weeks to report status of sprint tickets.
Plan/facilitate Operations portion of week-long PI planning events every quarter.
What Sets You Apart (Required Qualifications):
TS/SCI security clearance on day 1
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Current IAT Level II equivalent certification and ability to obtain an IAT Level III certification within 6 months of hire date.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Kanban and Scrum
Experience in Python
Experience writing and deploying AWS Cloud Formation templates
Experience writing and troubleshooting AWS IAM permissions and boundaries
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams
Experience designing systems from inception to large scale 24-hour worldwide operations
Experience deploying accounts on multiple classification systems

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
