Title:
Sr. Warehouseman
Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR!
Program Summary
KBR provides wholesale supply and logistics support, inventory management, commercial and government depot maintenance, and configuration management associated with the Enterprise Base Logistics contract.
Job Summary
Sr. Warehouseman will manually and physically receive part at the KBR Warehouse and perform a quality check (QC’ing). Once the part has been verified and received in the system (Maximo) then you will put the parts away in the correct location in the warehouse. New parts are purchased by the KBR Supply Chain, to support the production demands under the Enterprise Performance Based Logistics (EPBL) contract at Hill Airforce Base (HAFB). The quantity is validated based on the packing slip for each shipment, then entered inventory via Maximo. Log into computer and check Honeywell email first thing in the morning. If there is an email for hot parts, make sure to log the tracking number.
Practice First in first out (FIFO) which is a warehouse inventory control method in which the first items to come into the warehouse are the first items to leave. The items received first are the items held the longest and therefore closest to obsolescence or expiry. To avoid worthless inventory, KBR practices FIFO to ensure the oldest parts move first.
