In this role, you will:- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll operations, including US payroll processing and employee care cases related to payroll.
- Ensure payroll system is configured in compliance with federal, state, and local laws by establishing controls, monitoring results, and collaborating with other control partners.
- Develop, implement, and maintain payroll policies, procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and manage teams of payroll professionals located domestically and internationally.
- Analyze payroll data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize payroll processes.
- Serve as an escalation point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues and providing guidance to employees and management.
- Manage payroll audits and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and readily available.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and changes in payroll legislation to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
Required Qualifications:- 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: HR Operations, Accounting, Payroll, Payroll Tax, Compliance, or Operational Risk, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of Management experience
- 5+ years of payroll and timekeeping systems experience
- Proficiency in the Workday Payroll Application with the ability to transform a payroll function by leveraging new technology that is both scalable and cost effective.
Desired Qualifications:- Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, including multi-state payroll compliance.
- Payroll experience end to end
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Excel experience with pivot tables, V- look up
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Job Expectations: - Hybrid work schedule in one of the posted locations: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX or Mpls, MN
- Travel up to 25%

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
