Our HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for the front desk operations at Penske’s corporate headquarters. This role will answer, direct, and properly route a high volume of incoming calls to our main phone system.
Working in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment, this role is the key point of contact for internal associates and external customers and requires a positive, professional, and courteous approach. This role will also greet visitors to our corporate office and partner with the campus security representatives.
Qualified candidates for this role will have at least two years of prior administrative support experience, a cheerful outlook, professional appearance and demeanor, and a demonstrated employment record for attendance and accountability. Optimal candidates will have prior call center experience.
Position Location: 2675 Morgantown Rd, Reading PA, 19607, Monday through Friday, On-site
Major Role Functions:
- Provide support to all front desk operations at Penske’s Corporate Headquarters
- Ensure all calls are promptly answered and routed accurately
- Greet associates, vendors, clients, and prospective candidates
- Support the HR Department with mail distribution, ordering of supplies, and maintaining HR Breakroom
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications for Internals Candidates:
- Minimum high school diploma; higher education helpful, as additional education provides
broader perspectives and additional functional expertise that can be applied on the job.
- At least 2-years of administrative support required
- Prior call center operations on multiple lines highly preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Effective communication skills
- Professional demeanor is required
- Ability to maintain organization and accuracy, and work independently
- Experience on business software programs, applications & tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Access, and Microsoft Teams) required. NICE CXone experience a plus.
