The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.
- Classification: Full-Time
- Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years experience providing customer service in a high-end fitness center or luxury spa environment, a plus.
- Hold a current certification in fitness, pilates or yoga.
- Maintain complete communication and cooperation with all managers.
- Strong team work and collaborative skills required
- Energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
- Articulate individual who can relate to a diverse group of guests and co-workers.
- Ability to utilize computer programs including: Spa Operations Software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Outlook.
- Excellent personal appearance, good communication skills and a friendly, congenial personality is a must
- Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the guest.

What will I be doing?
The Activities Supervisor is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment in the fitness center, studios and kids club. Managing day to day strategies and operations of their facilities. They will oversee the fitness staff, kids club and help assist as an MOD for the spa & fitness. This position is responsible for risk management, facility usage and programing execution. The Fitness & Activities Supervisor will assist the Fitness & Activities Manager with employee schedules, create ideas and actions for revenue growth, navigate crisis management, and assist with providing facility tours with new members.
- Develop standard and programming for the fitness and activities team, ensuring they are following luxury forbes standards.
- Provide an orientation tour, explaining the equipment and classes offered and answering guests’ questions.
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized fitness & activity environment through consistent monitoring of the facility.
- Audit fitness classes to ensure standards a being met, and classes are well attended.
- Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the fitness, activities and spa department.
- Actively promote the fitness center, classes, spa, treatments, services, sessions kids club activities and retail as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- Assist with programming for fitness and kids club camps, activities and events.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Program and execute weekly, monthly and seasonal events in kids club, activities, fitness and wellness.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the fitness, activities and spa department.
- Assist in all areas of fitness, activities and spa operation as requested by management.
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with company standards.
