Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, dedicated Associate Director Program Manager, Reporting and Tooling to join our exciting and fast-paced site merchandising team, based in Boston or Seattle. This senior position will strategically leverage data and analytics to empower Chewy’s site merchandising team and deliver exceptional customer experiences with increased efficiency. The role will drive transformative changes in how we collaborate with and report data to our partners, including developing innovative ways to visualize and communicate insights, and will advocate for the team’s highest-priority product and feature needs on both a short- and long-term basis. The successful candidate will have a technology or retail background, be process-oriented, and able to work cross-functionally with internal teams at all levels of the organization. This individual must be highly motivated, results focused, organized, and detail oriented, and must possess solid objectivity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. The role will work side by side with thoughtful and passionate business, tech, and operations professionals. This individual will be involved in many aspects of building and improving the business and business mechanisms, and will be given the freedom and flexibility to move quickly. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain core reporting suite for the site merchandising team, including establishing and socializing core critical metrics, weekly/monthly/quarterly business review materials, and impact analyses
- Create, document, and maintain best practices for go-to-market planning, operations, and execution including critical issues, workflows, and reporting
- Develop new mechanisms and processes that collate and track site merchandising inputs into partner teams’ roadmaps, requirements documents, releases, etc
- Identify scalable scheduling and reporting solutions for site merchandising and implement mechanisms for broad adoption in partnership with relevant partners from Product, Engineering, UX, Design, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Category Management
- Own end-to-end program execution and communication across the enterprise
- Represent and drive forward site merchandising needs in partner teams’ yearly operational planning cycle
- Marry the art and science of site merchandising to share clear and concise reporting for executive audiences internally and externally
What You’ll Need:
- College degree in business-related field
- 6+ years of experience in project/program or product management
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to think and perform strategically and tactically
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling visual presentations that effectively communicate insights to executives and collaborators with limited business familiarity
Bonus (if applicable):
- Familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel capabilities
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Associate Director Program Manager position is $149,000.00 - $245,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k, and a new hire and annual equity grant.
