Atlas Molded Products is seeking an Architectural Territory Sales Representative for the Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Northern Indiana geography. The preferred candidate needs to reside and be located around the Grand Rapids/Byron Center Michigan, (two to three hours) and then northern Indiana and northern Ohio is also part of the covered territory.
Architectural Territory Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities
- Increase sales and profit margin by managing existing customers while developing and broadening relationships with Distributors, Contractors, and Design Professionals.
- Maintain awareness of market pricing, product innovations, competitive product lines and market trends that may affect your market.
- Communicate accurate information with Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director on developments impacting their areas of responsibility.
- Professional communication with customers in a timely manner.
- Promote and display products at trade shows and customer events.
- Promote new products and keeps customers informed of promotions, special offers, and incentive opportunities.
- Follow up on quotes and ensure the proper documentation has been sent to the appropriate Customer Service, Sales Support, and the Pricing Administrator.
- Travel for this position is mostly by driving but some flying may be required.
Architectural Territory Sales Representative Experience
- Four (4) years’ experience minimum or at least in the construction and/or building materials industry, preferably insulation products.
- Four years in a field sales capacity is required preferably in the construction, infrastructure, and architectural projects for insulation, stabilization, and other applications.
Architectural Territory Sales Representative Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers and anyone involved in the sale of the product.
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the public.
- Computer skills (Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Work and manage time independently while building strong relationships with fellow Atlas Molded Products team members from sales, manufacturing, customer support, and management.
Education, Licenses & Certifications
- Four (4) year degree is preferred.
