Overview
As a Project Developer specializing in Data Center and Energy Efficiency projects, with a focus on Electrical and large UPS systems, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and executing initiatives to enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of data centers. This role demands a unique blend of project management, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of energy efficiency principles.
Pay: $87,500.00-$ $162,500.00 annually

applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Identification and Assessment:
- Conduct thorough assessments of data center facilities to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements, particularly in Electrical and UPS systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives.
- Proposal Development:
- Develop comprehensive project proposals, including detailed plans for Electrical system upgrades, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy integration.
- Ensure proposals align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Technical Expertise – Electrical and UPS Systems:
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Electrical and UPS systems, as well as electrical engineering, to design and implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal design, performance and sustainability in data center environments.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial assessments and cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the economic viability of proposed projects.
- Provide accurate estimates for budgeting and project feasibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project development and implementation.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients to ensure seamless communication.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current on industry regulations and standards related to data center operations, energy efficiency, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project development, particularly in the context of data centers, with a focus on electrical and large UPS systems.
- Strong technical expertise in electrical design, energy efficiency measures, and sustainable practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
