The Salesforce Developer is responsible for all code-based solutions within Salesforce or involving data migrations, systems integrations and 3rd party applications. The position will work closely with the Salesforce administrator and department stakeholders to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Apex development, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Design System, Shield, and other technologies to build customized solutions. Establishing and adhering to best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
- Serve as the product owner for the Salesforce Platform which includes the implementation of a Lab Information System ? Lockbox.
- Seek out ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization that is scaling at a rapid pace.
- Define, communicate, and manage a change management process to develop and implement new applications/code and updates to existing applications/code.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and other engineers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application design, development processes, and integration workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Salesforce technologies and recommend improvements to existing capabilities and processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with development, integration and migration with Salesforce platforms.
- Extensive experience with Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Familiar with Agile
- Experience as a Product Owner
- Programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Apex, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques.
- Experience with SQL Server and database technology a plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Education, Certifications & Licensures:
- BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or Engineering required
- Microsoft or Salesforce certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II) a plus.
Other:
- This position is based at the Company's Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters with the expectation of performing work on site, in-office a minimum of 3-4 days per week.
- Ability to use copiers, fax machines, and PDF scanners to keep inventory and ordering records. Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish sufficient detail.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
