We are seeking aManufacturing Technician - Spinningat our St. Louis, MO location.
Come be a part of an exclusive team, we are only one of a handful of companies in the world to do what we do. We create hollow membrane fibers to be used in a wide range of products across the globe. We are currently looking for technicians that are Safety and Quality focused with a drive to meet and beat daily production goals. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and adjusting equipment at the front end of a complex process in a light machinery setting. This process requires the ability to learn and develop a deep understanding of the process, equipment, and the chemistry that is occurring during production. These skills will be achieved through the company’s training program. You will use computers and laboratory equipment to complete process quality checks while monitoring your process, collecting data, and maintaining production records. Lastly, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to promote continuous improvement of safety, quality, and production to meet our customers’ expectations.
In this role, the Manufacturing Technician - Spinning will have the following responsibilities:
Follow all safety policy and PPE requirements
Operate continuous process equipment for manufacturing hollow fiber membranes
Raw material handling and preparation of batch mixtures
Measure and monitor all process conditions to ensure product quality
Operate and maintain equipment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity requirements
Maintain records such as product inspection & process monitoring logs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of Windows PC environment
Basic mechanical skills
Demonstrated initiative to complete job assignments
Demonstrated commitment to quality - detailed inspections
Ability to follow operating instructions and safety procedures
12-hour rotating shift (36 / 48-hour work weeks)
